Basic Wastewater Management Training

In October 2023, we are rolling out a new, 3-level Wastewater Management Training system with courses targeted to learners who are new in the field of wastewater management, as well as more advanced trainings for learners at different levels of experience.

This restructure is based on feedback from stakeholders and learners that, as the wastewater guidelines have developed, the assumed level of knowledge has developed as well. This left an educational gap to be filled, and the restructure solves this with a new Basic Wastewater Management Training for beginners.  The new training covers subjects such as the different treatment steps at a facility, types of discharge and monitoring and complements the existing trainings for the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines V2.1.
